Accepted File Formats
The gang sheet builder accepts a wide range of file types: PNG, PDF, SVG, JPG, PSD, AI/EPS
Vector files (such as AI, EPS, and SVG) are the preferred format, as they scale to any size without losing quality or sharpness.
Resolution
After uploading, the software automatically checks your file's resolution using colour-coded indicators and flags any overlapping designs on the sheet.
For sharp, print-ready results, artwork should be set to 300 DPI (dots per inch) at the intended print size.
Simply enlarging a small image does not increase its resolution or improve print quality. Submitting low-resolution files may result in prints that appear blurry, pixelated, or fuzzy.
Background
For best results, upload artwork with a transparent background (unless the background itself is part of the design).
A transparent background ensures only your design transfers to the garment. Without one, you may see an unwanted white box, coloured rectangle, or visible edges around your artwork on the finished product.
Image Size
Use the gang sheet builder to resize your artwork to the exact dimensions needed for printing. Sizing can be adjusted directly within the tool.
Orientation
Upload your artwork in the correct reading direction. Do not mirror, flip, or reverse your image before submitting.
Opacity
DTF printing performs best with solid, fully opaque colours. Avoid using translucent, semi-transparent, or low-opacity elements in your artwork, as these may not reproduce as expected.
Transparent effects can result in:
- Unexpected colour shifts
- Visible artifacts
- Uneven gradients
- Inconsistent opacity on fabric
Line Thickness
All lines and fine details should be a minimum of 0.5 mm thick. Very thin lines may not pick up enough adhesive powder during production to bond properly to the garment when heat pressed.
Artwork with lines below this minimum thickness risks:
- Incomplete transfers
- Peeling or lifting after application
- Broken or missing fine details
- Reduced durability after washing
Colour Accuracy
We aim to produce vibrant, accurate prints on every order. That said, exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed with DTF printing. Final printed colours may vary slightly from what appears on screen due to:
- Monitor and display settings
- RGB-to-print colour conversion
- Fabric colour and texture
- Printer profiles and ink characteristics
- The white ink underbase used in DTF printing
